How We Hang a Door Properly

The frame is checked for plumb and square, because a door can only be as straight as its frame.

The door is trimmed for even gaps around the edges and above the floor finish.

Hinge recesses and the latch are cut cleanly so the door closes softly.

Cut edges are sealed against moisture, and the door is tested open and closed.
Door Frames and Water Damage in Dubai
Bathroom and kitchen door frames often swell at the base from mopping water and small leaks. Instead of replacing the whole frame, the damaged section can usually be cut out and a new piece spliced in, then painted to match.
When doors are replaced, the new door has to be trimmed to the existing frame, which is rarely perfectly square. Careful fitting gives even gaps and a door that latches without force.
