About us

A Local Handyman Team Based in Al Barsha

Wadi Al Muntaha Technical Services, known as Wamtech Services, started with a simple idea. Most people in Dubai do not need a contractor for a big renovation. They need someone reliable who turns up on time, fixes the small things properly and leaves the home clean.

Our office is in Al Salam Tower in Al Barsha, which puts us within easy reach of New Dubai, Jumeirah and the villa communities along Al Khail and Emirates Road. Our technicians are trade specialists. Tilers tile, electricians handle the electrics and carpenters build, so every job is done by someone who does that kind of work every day.

We work for tenants, landlords, property managers and small businesses. Many of our customers call us again for the next job, and that repeat work is what we are proudest of.

  • Trade-specialist technicians
  • Tools and fixings on every visit
  • Clear quote before any work
  • Workmanship guarantee

What we handle

Eight Trades Under One Booking

A handyman in Dubai is expected to cover more than odd jobs. Our technicians are grouped by trade, so the person who arrives to tile your shower is a tiler, and the person who wires your ceiling fan works on electrical jobs every day.

0177 services

Mounting and Installation

Anything that needs to go on a wall or ceiling safely. Our installers identify gypsum, block, concrete and marble before drilling, then choose anchors rated for the load. TVs, curtain tracks, mirrors, shelves, fly screens, smart devices and kitchen appliances are all fitted level, secure and tested before we leave.

0224 services

Assembly

Flat-pack and ready-made furniture assembled by technicians who follow the manufacturer's instructions to the letter. We build IKEA wardrobes, office workstations, cribs and home gym equipment, and anchor tall pieces to the wall. When you move, we take furniture apart, label the fittings and rebuild it at the new address.

0368 services

Walls, Paint and Finishes

Interior and villa exterior painting, drywall and gypsum repairs, wallpaper hanging and removal, and wood staining. We prepare surfaces properly with filler, sanding and primer, because paint only lasts as long as the wall underneath it. Move-in and move-out touch-ups are a large part of this work in Dubai rentals.

0476 services

Floors and Tiles

Ceramic, porcelain, marble and mosaic tiling, plus regrouting, grout sealing and cracked or loose tile repair. We also level uneven floors and repair, sand and polish parquet. Cement and epoxy grouts are chosen by room, so wet areas such as showers and kitchen backsplashes stay watertight.

0536 services

Carpentry, Doors and Windows

Custom carpentry, kitchen cabinet repairs, door and window adjustments, lock changes and stair or banister repairs. Our carpenters work with solid wood, MDF and gypsum board. Sticking sliding doors, dropped hinges and worn window rollers are some of the most common calls we get after a dusty Dubai summer.

0644 services

Plumbing, Electrical and AC

Minor plumbing repairs, leaking taps and drains, bathroom fixture replacement, light fittings, sockets, ceiling fans and circuit checks. Our AC technicians clean filters, inspect ductwork and wash outdoor condenser units. We also repair DB panels, install and clean chandeliers, tidy cables and repair split and central AC systems. Regular AC maintenance keeps cooling efficient and power bills lower through the long summer months.

0731 services

Outdoor and Villa

Fence and gate repairs, timber and composite decking, roof leak repair, gutter cleaning and pressure washing for villas and townhouses. Outdoor work in Dubai has to cope with sun, sand and occasional heavy rain. We use rust-resistant hardware, UV-stable stains and sealants designed for high heat.

0829 services

Safety and General Repairs

Baby proofing for families with young children, safety upgrades such as grab bars for older relatives, and the small repairs every home collects. Stair gates, cabinet locks, window restrictors, furniture anchoring, caulking and odd jobs can all be booked in one visit. It is the quickest way to clear a long list of small tasks.

Why you need it

Why Dubai Homes Need Regular Handyman Care

Dubai is hard on buildings. Summer surface temperatures pass 60 degrees on balconies, coastal humidity gets into every joint, and fine sand finds its way into tracks, hinges and filters. Small problems that would wait years elsewhere turn into leaks, stuck doors and cracked tiles within a season or two.

Most homes also change hands often. Every move means mounting, assembly and hanging on the way in, and patching and painting on the way out. Regular small fixes cost far less than one big repair caused by leaving them.

How Often a Typical Home Needs Each Job

JobHow OftenWhy It Matters in Dubai
AC Filter CleaningEvery month in summerDust and sand clog filters quickly, which raises DEWA bills and cuts cooling. Clean filters also improve indoor air quality.
Silicone Around Baths and ShowersEvery 1 to 2 yearsHeat and humidity break silicone down and turn it black with mould. Failed seals let water reach the wall and the unit below.
Grout Sealing in Wet AreasEvery 1 to 2 yearsUnsealed cement grout soaks up water and stains. Over time it cracks, and tiles start to sound hollow and come loose.
Door and Window Hardware CheckOnce a yearSliding tracks fill with sand and hinges drop, so doors stick and locks stop catching. A yearly clean and adjustment prevents costly replacements.
Wall Touch-Ups and PatchingBefore move-in and move-outSmall holes and scuffs are quick and cheap to fix. Repairing them before handover helps protect your security deposit.
Exterior Washing and Painting CheckOnce a year for villasDust storms and strong sun fade paint and dirty facades, especially on south and west walls. Early touch-ups stop water getting into cracks.

Why choose us

Six Reasons Customers Book Us Again

Anyone can own a drill. What you are paying for is someone who uses the right fixing, turns up when they said they would and stands behind the work.

The Right Trade for the Job

We send a tiler for tiles, an electrician for electrical work and a carpenter for doors and cabinets. Each technician works in that trade every day and carries the specialist tools for it. That is why a regrouted shower or a mounted TV stays right for years instead of months.

Honest, Job-By-Job Pricing

There is no fixed rate card, because no two jobs are the same. We price each job on its real size, the wall or floor type, the materials and access to the building. You see the starting price on every service page and agree the final quote before any work begins.

On Time, or We Tell You

You get a confirmed time slot and a message when the technician is on the way. Dubai traffic is unpredictable on Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, so if a delay happens, you hear it from us first. Evening and weekend slots are available for people who work office hours.

Work That Is Guaranteed

Every job carries a workmanship guarantee. If a fixing we made comes loose, a seal we applied fails or a repair does not hold because of how we did it, we come back and put it right at no charge. We keep a record of each job, so follow-up visits are quick.

Respect for Your Home

Technicians wear shoe covers, lay dust sheets over floors and furniture and use a vacuum attachment when drilling. Packaging, offcuts and old fittings are taken away at the end of the visit. You are left with a finished job, not a mess to clean up.

We Know Dubai Buildings

Gypsum partitions, drilling hours, work permits, gate passes and service lift bookings are part of everyday work in Dubai. We know how buildings in Dubai Marina, Downtown, JVC and the villa communities handle contractors. Planning around those rules makes the visit smooth for you and your neighbours.

How it works

Four Steps from Message to Finished Job

  1. 1

Send a Photo or a List

WhatsApp us a picture of the wall, the broken tile or the flat-pack boxes, or simply type out your to-do list. Tell us your community and building name too. Most jobs can be assessed from a photo within the hour, and nothing is booked until you are happy with the plan.

  2. 2

    Get a Clear Quote

Prices are not fixed, because the size of the job, the materials and the wall type change the work involved. We quote on what you actually need and explain what is included, such as fixings, sealant or a bracket. If anything changes on site, we tell you before we touch it.

  3. 3

    Book a Time Slot

Choose a slot that suits you, including evenings and weekends. Let us know if your tower needs a work permit or your community needs a gate pass, and we arrange the paperwork with you. You receive a confirmation message with the technician's arrival window.

  4. 4

    Work, Test, Clean Up

The technician protects your floors, completes the job and tests it in front of you, whether that is a TV, a curtain track or a regrouted shower. Dust is vacuumed and packaging is taken away. You only pay once you are satisfied with the finished work.

Local know-how

Why Dubai Homes Need a Handyman Who Knows Dubai

The same TV bracket goes up differently on a Marina gypsum partition and on a Mirdif villa block wall. These are the local details that decide whether a repair lasts.

Gypsum, Block or Concrete

Most apartment partitions in Dubai Marina, JLT and Business Bay are gypsum board on metal studs, while villa walls are usually concrete block. Gypsum needs spring toggles, cavity anchors or a fixing into the stud, and concrete needs expansion plugs. Using the wrong anchor is the main reason shelves and TVs pull away from Dubai walls, so we identify the wall before drilling the first hole.

Heat and Humidity

Coastal humidity and summer heat break down cheap silicone and cement grout much faster than in cooler climates. Balcony tiles can pass 60 degrees Celsius in direct sun, which makes them expand and lift. We use mould-resistant silicone, epoxy grout in wet areas and exterior sealants rated for high temperatures and UV exposure.

Your Security Deposit

Tenants worry about holes and marks at the end of a tenancy, and with good reason. We suggest no-drill options such as tension rods and floor stands where they genuinely work. When drilling is needed, we place fixings neatly and can return at move-out to fill, sand and touch up the paint so the wall passes the landlord inspection.

Building Rules

Many towers only allow drilling during set weekday hours and ask contractors for a work permit, a trade licence copy or a gate pass. Villa communities often require a pass booked through the community management office. We plan every visit around these rules, so the technician is not turned away at the lobby and you are not fined by building management.

Questions About Hiring a Handyman in Dubai

Still unsure? Message us a photo and ask. A real technician answers, not a call centre.

See our most booked job: TV wall mounting

How Much Does a Handyman Cost in Dubai?

Small jobs such as hanging a mirror, fixing a door handle or mounting a TV usually start from AED 150 to AED 250 per visit. Larger jobs like regrouting a bathroom or assembling a full bedroom set are quoted after we see photos. Prices are not fixed, because they depend on the size of the job, the wall type and the materials. You agree the quote before any work starts. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.

Can I Book a Handyman for the Same Day?

Yes, on most days. Call or message before midday and we can usually send a technician the same afternoon or evening. Weekend and holiday slots fill up faster, so booking a day ahead is safer for Saturday visits.

Do I Need to Buy the Materials Myself?

No. Wall plugs, screws, sealant, grout and standard fixings come with the technician. For items with a style choice, such as a TV bracket, curtain rod or replacement tile, we can supply one or fit the one you already bought.

Which Areas of Dubai Do You Cover?

We cover every residential and business community in Dubai, from Dubai Marina, JBR and Palm Jumeirah to Mirdif, Silicon Oasis, Arabian Ranches and Deira. There is no extra call-out charge for any community inside Dubai.

Is the Work Guaranteed?

Every job carries a workmanship guarantee. If a fixing comes loose or a repair fails because of how we did it, we come back and correct it at no charge.

Can One Technician Do Several Small Jobs in One Visit?

Yes, and it is usually the cheapest way to book. Send us the full list and we plan the right technician and the right time block, so the TV, the shelves and the dripping tap all get done in one trip.
