Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you book a handyman with us, written in plain English so you know what to expect before, during and after a visit.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
In short: we give you a clear quote, agree any changes before doing extra work, look after your home, and fix problems with our workmanship. In return, we ask for accurate job details, access to the property and payment when the work is done.
1. About These Terms
These terms apply to all services provided by Wadi Al Muntaha Technical Services LLC ("we", "us", "our") to customers ("you") in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and to the use of our website. By booking a job, confirming a quote or letting our team start work, you agree to these terms.
Our Pricing, Refund and Exchange Policy and our Privacy Policy form part of these terms. If something agreed in writing for your job is different from these terms, the written agreement for that job applies.
2. Our Services
We provide handyman, repair, installation, assembly, painting, tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing and minor electrical services for homes and businesses. Descriptions on our website explain what is usually included, but the exact scope of your job is the one agreed in your quote or booking message.
Some work needs a specialist licence or approval. We do not carry out gas connections, structural alterations, high-rise rope access work or work that legally requires another licensed contractor. Where needed, we can refer you to suitable licensed partners, who are responsible for their own work.
3. Quotes and Prices
Prices on our website are starting guides marked with an asterisk (*). They are not fixed rates. Your quote is based on the information and photos you give us.
If, on arrival, the job is different from what was described, or hidden problems are found (such as damaged walls, rotten timber, faulty wiring or missing parts), we will explain the change and the new price before continuing. No extra work is done without your agreement.
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise, as material prices and availability can change.
4. Bookings and Arrival Times
A booking is confirmed when we send you a confirmation message with the date and arrival window. We aim to arrive within the agreed window, but traffic, building access or a previous job running over can cause delays. We will message you if we are running late.
Same-day visits are offered where possible and are never guaranteed.
5. Your Responsibilities
To help us do the job safely and on time, you agree to:
- Give accurate information about the job, including sizes, wall types where known and the condition of items.
- Arrange access to the property, parking and any building or community permits our team needs.
- Tell us about hidden pipes, cables, underfloor heating or other services where you know of them.
- Make sure an adult (18 or over) is present or has authorised the visit, and keep children and pets away from the work area.
- Clear the work area of valuables, fragile items and personal belongings where practical.
- Provide working water and electricity where the job needs them.
- Make sure you own the property or have the owner's or landlord's permission for the work.
6. Materials, Parts and Your Own Items
We bring common fixings and consumables. Other parts and materials can be supplied by us at the quoted price, or by you.
When you supply items such as furniture, TVs, brackets, appliances, tiles, paint or fittings, you are responsible for their quality, suitability and completeness. We are not responsible for defects in customer-supplied items, missing parts, or delays caused by them. If an item you supplied is unsafe or unsuitable, we may decline to install it.
7. Existing Conditions and Limits
We work with the property as we find it. We are not responsible for problems caused by existing conditions, such as weak or hollow walls, old or brittle tiles, poor previous workmanship, worn pipes or outdated wiring, unless we caused the damage through negligence.
Some results depend on the existing surface. For example, touch-up paint may look slightly different from old paint, and replacement tiles may not match discontinued originals exactly. We will tell you about these limits before starting where we can.
8. Payment
Payment is due when the job is completed, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing. For larger jobs or special-order materials, we may ask for a deposit before ordering or starting.
Accepted payment methods are confirmed when you book. Invoices for businesses and landlords are sent by email with the agreed payment terms.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge if you tell us at least 24 hours before the booked arrival time. Late cancellations, or visits where our team cannot get access, may be charged a call-out fee. Full details are in our Pricing, Refund and Exchange Policy.
We may need to reschedule because of illness, unsafe conditions, severe weather or emergencies. If this happens, we will contact you as early as possible and offer the next available slot.
10. Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If a problem with our workmanship appears within the guarantee period, tell us and we will inspect it and put it right at no charge. The guarantee period and what it covers are set out in our Pricing, Refund and Exchange Policy.
The guarantee does not cover misuse, accidental damage, normal wear, changes made by others, overloading of fixtures beyond their stated limits, or defects in customer-supplied items.
11. Damage and Liability
Our team takes care to protect your property. If we damage something through our negligence, please tell us within 48 hours of the visit, with photos, so we can look into it and agree a fair repair or compensation.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of income or inconvenience, or for damage caused by hidden services we were not told about. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount paid for that job, except where UAE law does not allow this limit.
12. Safety and Refusal of Work
Our team may stop or refuse work if it is unsafe, illegal, outside our skills, against building rules, or if our staff are treated with abuse or threats. In that case you only pay for work completed and materials already supplied.
13. Use of Our Website
Content on this website, including text, layouts and graphics, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Guides and prices are general information and may change. We try to keep the website accurate but do not guarantee it is free of errors.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, contact us by WhatsApp on +971 56 766 0849 or by email at mrhandymandubai01@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints within one working day and to resolve them as quickly as possible.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us will be handled by the competent courts of Dubai.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
