Steel Cable Anti-Tip Straps
Braided steel cables that join the furniture to the wall. They hold far more than plastic straps. They stay hidden behind the furniture.

Toddlers climb drawers like ladders and pull on shelves to stand up. A tall wardrobe, dresser or TV that tips forward can cause serious injury in a second. We anchor furniture and TVs to the wall with anti-tip straps and brackets, fixed into the right part of the wall.
What We Anchor
Stop Tip-Overs
Furniture tip-overs are one of the most serious household risks for toddlers, and one of the easiest to prevent.
We strap tall furniture and TVs to studs or masonry with steel anti-tip straps and brackets, then test every anchor before pushing the furniture back.
Anchoring Guide
| Furniture | Tip Risk | Anchor Used |
|---|---|---|
| Chest of Drawers | Very high when drawers are pulled out | Two steel cable straps to studs or masonry |
| Tall Wardrobe | High, especially IKEA PAX and similar | Wall brackets or straps at the top rail |
| Bookcase and Shelving | High when climbed or loaded at the top | L-brackets or straps at the top |
| Flat Screen TV on a Stand | High if pulled by the edge | TV anti-tip strap to the wall or unit |
| Free-Standing Mirror | Medium to high | Concealed wall bracket |
| Kitchen and Storage Cabinets | Medium | Brackets into wall studs |
Why It Matters
The anti-tip kit that comes with flat-pack furniture usually includes a strap and a plastic plug. That plug is fine in solid concrete, but most internal walls in Dubai apartments are gypsum board. A plastic plug in gypsum pulls out under exactly the force a falling wardrobe creates.
We find the metal studs or solid masonry first and fix the strap there. Where no stud is in the right place, we use metal cavity anchors rated for the load. Each anchor is tested by hand before the furniture is pushed back.
Anchoring is part of every baby proofing in Dubai visit. Pair it with child-proof locks and latches and corner guards and edge bumpers for a fully safe bedroom and living room.

Tools and Materials
Braided steel cables that join the furniture to the wall. They hold far more than plastic straps. They stay hidden behind the furniture.
Metal angle brackets fixed to the top of bookcases and cabinets. They give a rigid connection to the wall. They suit heavy shelving.
Anchors that grip behind gypsum board when no stud is available. They are rated for pulling loads. Plastic plugs are never used for anchoring.
Straps that connect a TV to the wall or its unit. They stop a screen falling forward when pulled. They suit TVs on stands and consoles.
Based in Al Barsha since 2014, we work across every Dubai community with trade-specialist technicians and a workmanship guarantee on every job.
We locate studs and masonry rather than trusting gypsum board. The anchor holds when it is needed. That is the whole point.
Flat-pack kits often include weak plastic parts. We use steel straps and metal anchors. The upgrade costs little and matters a lot.
We check bedrooms, living rooms and storage areas, not just the nursery. Toddlers explore everywhere. Every tall item is secured.
Straps and brackets sit behind and above the furniture. Nothing spoils the look of the room. Holes are easy to repair later.
Anchoring costs from AED 40 per item, with a minimum visit of AED 150. Straps and anchors are supplied. A typical apartment of wardrobes, dressers, bookcases and a TV costs AED 250 to AED 450. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
Each anchor needs one or two small holes behind the furniture, where they are hidden. They are quick to fill and paint when you move out.
Anchoring is one part. A full visit also covers gates, locks, outlet covers, corner guards, window restrictors and balcony safety.
A typical two-bedroom apartment costs AED 450 to AED 900 for a full baby proofing visit, and villas usually cost AED 1,200 to AED 2,500. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
Each item takes 10 to 20 minutes. A whole apartment is usually anchored in one to two hours.
