How Modular Shelving Is Installed
- Step 1
Plan the Layout
We plan rail height and upright spacing around the wall, sockets and furniture.
- Step 2
Fix the Rail
The top rail is levelled and fixed into the wall with anchors suited to the wall type.
- Step 3
Hang Uprights
Uprights are hung and fixed at the bottom so they stay in line.
- Step 4
Add Shelves and Fittings
Shelves, baskets and rods are added and the system load checked.
Fixing Rail Systems to Dubai Walls
The whole system hangs from one top rail, so that rail must be fixed properly. On gypsum walls we use metal cavity anchors or fix into studs; on block, we use long plugs or resin.
Plan where you want the system before buying. Rails are sold in fixed lengths, and sockets or switches may need shelves positioned around them.
