Joining New Drywall to Old
The skill in drywall reinstatement is the joint between new and old. We match the board thickness, set the face flush and tape across the joint, then feather compound wide so no line shows.
New partitions in apartments may need building approval. We advise on approvals, ventilation and AC supply before building.

How Much Does Drywall Repair Cost in Dubai?
Small hole and crack repairs start from AED 150 per visit, including painting the repair. Water-damaged sections start from AED 300, and new partitions from about AED 85 per square metre. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
How Do You Fix Large Holes in Drywall?
Large holes are cut back to a neat square, backed with timber or a metal patch, filled with a new piece of gypsum board, then taped, jointed, sanded and painted.
Can Water-Damaged Drywall Be Repaired or Must It Be Replaced?
Small, dry stains can be sealed and repainted. Gypsum that has gone soft, crumbly or mouldy must be cut out and replaced. In both cases the leak must be fixed first.
Will the Repair Be Visible, and How Do You Match the Paint?
We feather the repair beyond the damaged area, sand it smooth and prime it, then paint to the nearest corner or joint using your colour code or a matched sample, so it blends into the wall.
