Why Does My AC Need a Gas Refill If It Is a Closed System?
A healthy AC should never need gas topping up. If the gas is low, there is a leak, usually at a flare joint or in a corroded coil. The leak should be found and fixed before refilling, or the gas will simply escape again.
Is It Better to Repair or Replace My AC?
