Yes. Showers, bathrooms and balconies get a tanking membrane, sealed corners and pipe collars before tiling, plus correct falls to the drain.
What Is the Cost of Laying Floor Tiles per Square Metre in Dubai?
Labour for floor tiling starts from AED 45 per square metre and wall tiling from AED 55 per square metre for standard porcelain and ceramic. Large format, mosaic and natural stone cost more because they take longer to set. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
How Long Does Tile Installation Take?
A bathroom usually takes three to five days including waterproofing and curing. A kitchen splashback is often done in a day. Floors depend on the area and tile size.
Can You Tile Over Existing Tiles?
Often, yes, if the old tiles are flat, firmly bonded and not hollow. We test them, prime with a bonding primer and use a suitable adhesive. Door heights and floor levels are checked first.
