WPC composite decking is the most popular choice in Dubai because it does not rot, splinter or need oiling. Capped boards resist fading and stains. We install composite decks on aluminium or treated frames with hidden clips, matching fascia and neat edges.

Natural feel
Real timber that feels cooler and ages naturally. It needs cleaning and oiling once or twice a year. It can be sanded and refreshed.
Options
Boards with a polymer shell that resists stains, fading and moisture. They suit families and pool areas. Colours stay consistent longer.
Lighter greys and sand tones stay cooler under the Dubai sun. They show less heat build-up. They suit roof terraces.
Clips that hold boards from the side without visible screws. The surface stays clean. Boards can expand evenly.
Fascia boards, edge profiles and step nosings in the same colour. Edges look finished. Frames stay hidden.
Composite boards expand more with heat than timber, so installation gaps matter. We follow the manufacturer's spacing for Dubai temperatures and use the correct clip system, otherwise boards buckle in summer.
Choose lighter colours where the deck gets full afternoon sun. Dark composite boards can become uncomfortably hot to walk on barefoot.
For timber options, see wooden deck installation. For pools, see poolside deck building, and for cleaning, deck washing.
Cleaning
Wash composite decks with soapy water. Avoid harsh solvents that dull the cap.
Warranty
Most brands require their own clips and spacing to keep the warranty valid.

In Dubai, timber decks usually need re-oiling or re-staining every 6 to 12 months because of strong UV. If water no longer beads on the surface or the colour has turned grey, it is time. WPC decks do not need staining, only cleaning.
Loose boards are usually caused by nails or screws that have backed out as timber moves in the heat. We remove the old fixings, replace them with stainless deck screws or hidden clips and replace any split boards.
Start by finding the cause: rotten boards, loose screws, a failed joist or a sinking support. Damaged boards are replaced, joists sistered or replaced, fixings renewed and the deck then cleaned and sealed.
Most composite decks take three to five days on site.
