Fixing Shade Structures to Decks
A pergola carries real wind loads. Posts must sit on proper footings through the deck or be bolted to the deck frame where it is strong enough. We never fix pergola posts to deck boards alone.
Shade sails pull hard on their fixing points, especially during shamal winds. Anchor posts and wall fixings are sized for the sail, and sails are tensioned so they do not flap and wear.

How Do I Repair a Damaged Deck?
Start by finding the cause: rotten boards, loose screws, a failed joist or a sinking support. Damaged boards are replaced, joists sistered or replaced, fixings renewed and the deck then cleaned and sealed.
