Cornices and Coving
Plaster and gypsum cornices painted crisp white or a feature colour. Cracks at joints are filled first. Lines are cut in sharply.
Al Salam Tower, Office 15B, Al Barsha, DubaiEvery day, 8am to 10pm
Cornices, coving, timber beams and ceiling mouldings frame a room from above. Yellowed trim or patchy beams spoil fresh walls. We paint and stain ceiling trims and beams with sharp lines, working safely at height and protecting the room.
From Above
Ceiling trims frame the whole room.
We paint and stain cornices and beams with sharp lines.
Trims
Plaster and gypsum cornices painted crisp white or a feature colour. Cracks at joints are filled first. Lines are cut in sharply.
Exposed beams in villas and majlis rooms. They are stained or painted to suit the room. Dust is removed before finishing.
Panel mouldings and roses on classic ceilings. Detail is picked out by brush. Gold or contrast colours are possible.
Edges around cove lighting are painted neatly. LED strips are protected. The glow looks even.
Planning
Ceiling trims are painted after the ceiling and before the walls, so lines are crisp and drips land on unfinished surfaces.
Timber beams collect dust and grease. We clean them thoroughly so stain or paint grips evenly.
For ceilings, see ceiling painting. For walls, see interior painting, and for new trim, woodwork and trim.

Paint covers the wood with an opaque colour and hides the grain. Stain soaks in and changes the colour while keeping the grain visible. Varnish or lacquer is a clear protective coat on top. Many jobs combine a stain with a varnish or oil.
Matte looks natural and hides marks, satin is a practical middle ground for furniture and doors, and gloss is the most wipeable but shows scratches. Most Dubai homes choose matte or satin.
We stock natural, oak, teak, walnut, mahogany, ebony, grey and white-wash tones from trusted brands, and can mix custom shades. We test samples on your timber before staining.
Furniture staining starts from AED 300 per piece, doors from AED 250 and decks from AED 40 per square metre. Larger jobs are quoted after seeing the timber. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.
