Design Feature
Patterned parquet turns a floor into a design feature.
We set out and lay patterns precisely so lines run true.
A pattern that drifts a few millimetres per row looks crooked across a large room. Setting out from a true centre line and checking as we lay keeps lines straight through doorways.
Patterns use more material than straight planks because of cutting at the edges. We include wastage in the quote so nothing runs short.
For standard installation, see parquet installation. For staining, see parquet staining, and for older floors, vintage parquet restoration.
