How We Polish and Buff Parquet

Maintenance That Avoids Sanding
Recoating before the finish wears through is the best way to protect parquet. It adds a new layer of protection so the timber underneath never gets damaged.
Shop-bought polishes can leave sticky build-up that dulls the floor and stops new finishes bonding. We remove it before recoating.

How Often Should Wooden Floors Be Polished?
In busy Dubai homes, a maintenance polish or recoat every 12 to 24 months keeps the finish protected. Full sanding is only needed when the finish is worn through to bare wood.
Is Sanding Included in Wood Restoration?
Yes. Full restoration includes sanding back to clean timber, filling, staining if wanted and sealing. Light refreshes can use a screen and recoat without full sanding.
