Tie-Back Hooks
Small wall hooks that hold a fabric or rope tie-back. They are fitted at a consistent height on every window so the curtains drape the same way. We fix them into solid wall, because tie-backs take a sideways pull every day.

The small parts make a big difference. Tie-backs at the same height on every window, finials that match the rod, gliders that run smoothly and cord cleats that keep children safe. We fit them all, neatly and securely.
Consistent tie-back heights
Finishing Touches
Tie-backs at different heights, missing finials and gliders that jam all make good curtains look tired. These are small fixes, but they change how the whole room feels.
We fit tie-backs and holdbacks at one consistent height, replace worn rings and gliders, add finials and fit child safety cleats for blind cords. Every part is fixed securely into the wall.
Small wall hooks that hold a fabric or rope tie-back. They are fitted at a consistent height on every window so the curtains drape the same way. We fix them into solid wall, because tie-backs take a sideways pull every day.
Decorative arms or knobs that the curtain tucks behind, with no fabric tie needed. Holdbacks suit heavy drapery and formal rooms. They come in metal, wood and crystal finishes to match the rod.
Fabric or cord tie-backs with a magnet in each end that clip together around the curtain. No wall fixing is needed, which makes them ideal for rented apartments. They work best on light and medium fabrics.
The decorative pieces at each end of a rod, from simple caps to glass, metal or wooden shapes. Finials also stop rings sliding off the rod. We replace lost or broken ones and fit new styles to existing rods.
The small parts that connect curtains to the rod or track. Worn gliders make curtains stick and jerk, and missing hooks make the heading sag. We replace them so the curtains run smoothly again.
Cleats fixed high on the wall to wind up loose blind cords and chains. They remove a known strangulation risk for young children. We fit them at least 1.5 metres from the floor.
Track parts that let two curtains overlap in the middle and close without a light gap. They are especially useful on bedroom blackout curtains. We fit them to most standard tracks.
Slim rods clipped to the leading edge of a curtain so it can be opened without touching the fabric. Wands keep delicate or light-coloured curtains clean. They are popular with ripple fold and pinch pleat headings.
The classic rule is two thirds of the way down from the rod, which creates a graceful curve and lets light in. For a more modern look, some people prefer one third down, or level with the window sill.
What matters most is consistency. Every window in the room should use the same height, measured from the floor rather than the window, so the curtains line up even when windows differ. We mark all positions with a laser before fixing the hooks.
A tie-back hook looks tiny, but it takes a sideways pull every time the curtain is opened. In gypsum, a plastic plug soon works loose and tears the board. We fix into studs or use metal cavity anchors, and in concrete we use proper masonry plugs.
Holdbacks on heavy drapery carry even more load and need the same care as the rod itself. Our heavy drapery guide explains how we fix them. For angled windows, see bay window and corner rods, or start with the main curtain installation in Dubai page.

Tie-backs and holdbacks are set to one laser height across the room. Curtains drape the same way at every window. The room looks planned rather than pieced together.
Tie-back hooks take a sideways pull every day, so they go into solid wall with proper anchors. They do not work loose in gypsum. Holdbacks get the same care as rods.
Brackets are set to a laser line rather than measured from a sloping ceiling. The rod or track sits perfectly level across the window. Hems then hang evenly from one side to the other.
