TV Unit and Wall Panel Installation in Dubai

A fluted feature wall, a floating media unit and a TV with no visible cables. We build the whole wall as one job, so the panels, the bracket, the unit and the wiring all line up.

Feature Walls

TV Unit and Feature Wall Panel Installation in One Design

A fluted or slatted feature wall behind the TV is one of the most requested upgrades in Dubai apartments. Done well, it hides every cable and frames the screen. Done badly, the TV ends up hanging from a decorative panel that was never designed to hold it.

We plan the cable routes, the timber backing and the bracket position before a single panel goes up. The floating unit is hung on a concealed rail at the right height under the screen, with space for a soundbar and ventilation for consoles.

  • WPC, timber, MDF and SPC panels
  • Hidden backing for the bracket
  • Floating units on steel rails

TV Wall Panel Materials: WPC, Timber Slat, MDF and SPC

Budget friendly

WPC Fluted Panels

Wood plastic composite panels with a fluted, slatted face. They resist moisture, weigh little and are easy to cut around sockets and switches. This is the most popular feature wall choice in Dubai apartments because it looks premium at a sensible cost.

Mid range

Timber Slat Panels

Real wood veneer slats mounted on an acoustic felt backing. They bring a warm, natural look to the room and soften the echo common in rooms with hard floors and large windows. Oak and walnut finishes are the most requested.

Custom

MDF with Lacquer

Medium density fibreboard cut to size and finished in paint or high-gloss PU lacquer. It can be built with recesses for shelves, display niches and LED strip lighting. This is the route for a fully custom TV wall designed around your room.

Premium look

Marble-Effect SPC Sheets

Large stone plastic composite sheets printed with a marble or stone pattern. They give the look of a book-matched marble wall without the weight or cost of real stone. The sheets are fixed with adhesive and hidden clips for a seamless finish.

How a TV Unit and Feature Wall Panel Is Installed

The order matters. Cables and backing go in before panels close the wall.

  1. Layer 1

    Wall Check

We scan for pipes, cables and studs, and identify whether the wall is gypsum or concrete block. This decides the fixings for the battens, the TV bracket and the floating unit. Any weak areas are reinforced before the panels go on.

  2. Layer 2

    Cable Route

Power, HDMI and network routes are planned first, so they run behind the panels and come out exactly where the TV and devices sit. On gypsum walls we can fit an in-wall power kit. Conduits keep the cables accessible later.

  3. Layer 3

    Battens or Adhesive

Panels go onto a timber or aluminium batten frame, or directly onto a flat wall with panel adhesive. Battens leave space for cables and make removal easier. Adhesive gives a slimmer finish on perfectly flat walls.

  4. Layer 4

    Feature Panels

Panels are cut and fitted around sockets and switches, levelled with a laser and finished at the edges with matching trims. Joints are aligned so the flutes or slats run continuously. End caps hide any cut edges.

  5. Layer 5

    TV Bracket

The TV bracket is fixed through the panel and the hidden timber backing into the wall behind, never into the panel alone. We mark the bracket position before the panels go up. This keeps the screen safe for years.

  6. Layer 6

    Floating Unit

The floating TV unit is hung on a concealed steel rail or heavy-duty brackets, set level and at the right height under the screen. We leave space for a soundbar and ventilation for consoles. Cable holes line up with the devices inside.

Mounting a TV Safely Through Decorative Wall Panels

Decorative panels are not structural. A TV bracket screwed only into WPC or MDF will pull out over time. We mark the bracket position before the panels go up, add a solid timber block behind the panel line at that spot, and use fixings long enough to pass through the panel and the backing into the wall.

Floating units are heavier than they look once they are full of consoles and a soundbar. We hang them on a concealed steel rail or heavy brackets fixed into concrete or studs. On gypsum walls without studs in the right place, we add backing or recommend a unit with legs.

Before drilling into any wall, we follow the process set out in safe drilling on concrete, gypsum, marble and brick walls in Dubai. For the TV itself, see TV wall mounting in Dubai, and for audio, soundbar and home theater mounting.

Tools and Materials

Tools, Materials and Products We Use for TV Unit and Wall Panel Installation

WPC Fluted Panels

Moisture-resistant wood plastic composite with a slatted face. Light, easy to cut and the most popular choice in Dubai apartments. They resist humidity better than MDF.

Acoustic Timber Slats

Real wood veneer slats on felt backing. They warm up the room and reduce echo from hard floors. Oak and walnut finishes are the most popular.

Concealed Steel Rails

Hidden rails that carry floating units and their contents. They hold far more than visible shelf brackets. The rail stays invisible behind the unit.

Panel Adhesive and Battens

Battens leave space for cables and make removal easier. Adhesive gives a slim finish on perfectly flat walls. We recommend battens in rented homes.

Why Choose Wamtech Services for TV Unit and Wall Panel Installation in Dubai

Based in Al Barsha since 2014, we work across every Dubai community with trade-specialist technicians and a workmanship guarantee on every job.

01

One Plan for the Whole Wall

Panels, cables, bracket and unit are planned together. Everything lines up because it was designed to. You approve the plan before work begins.

02

TV Never Hung on a Panel

The bracket always fixes through to solid backing and the wall behind. Decorative panels are never trusted with the load. It is the most common mistake on feature walls.

03

Rental-Aware Methods

Batten fixing lets panels come down at move-out. Holes are small and easy to repair. Adhesive is only used with the owner's approval.

04

Done in a Day

Most feature walls are finished in one visit, after a short survey for larger designs. Your living room is back in use the same evening.

TV Unit and Wall Panel Installation: Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does TV Unit and Wall Panel Installation Cost in Dubai?

Hanging a floating TV unit starts from AED 250. Fitting a feature wall of fluted or slatted panels behind the TV usually starts from AED 450 in labour for a standard 3 metre wall. A full package with panels, floating unit, TV mounting and hidden cables is quoted as one job after we see the wall and the design. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.

How Much Does TV Wall Mounting Cost in Dubai?

Mounting alone starts from AED 150 for TVs up to 55 inches on your own bracket. On a panelled wall, we use longer fixings that pass through the panel into the wall behind. Prices vary and can change depending on your exact requirements, the materials and access to the property, so the final price is confirmed after we see photos or visit.

Can You Mount a TV on a Gypsum Wall?

Yes. We fix into the studs or use hollow wall anchors rated for the load. When a feature wall is going up anyway, we can add timber backing behind the gypsum at the TV position for a stronger fixing.

Can You Hide the TV Wires Inside the Wall?

Yes. On a panelled wall this is easiest of all, because the cables run in the gap behind the panels. On gypsum we can also fit an in-wall power kit.

How Long Does TV Unit and Wall Panel Installation Take in Dubai?

A floating TV unit takes one to two hours. A feature panel wall with TV mounting usually takes most of a day, depending on how many sockets and corners need cutting around.
